ĦĦĦĦDr.Yuguang Li,born in Chongqing, graduated from Chongqing University and then moved overseas to study at the University of Berlin in Germany where he obtained the doctor's Degree of Engineering. He finished his Post-Doctoral Research in the Post-Doctoral Research Station located at the Headquarters of Simens Corporation of Germany. He was first employed by the University of the Bremen, then by the Smens Corporation of Germany and finally by the Aeronautical and Space Corporation of Italy. After studying and living in Europe for 14 years, he returned to China in 1995 and served as the Chief Engineer in Foshan Electrical Industry Company of Guangdong Province, Science 1998, he has been acting for two consecutive sessions as the Deputy Mayor of the People's Government of Foshan, being in charge of science and Technology, Education, Culture, Hygiene, Sports, Broadcast and Television, Information Development and the High and new Technology Development Zone.

ĦĦĦĦHe is also a member of the Eleventh and Twelfth People's Congress of Foshan, a member of the Standing Committee of the Eighth People's Political Consultative Conference of Guangdong province as well as a member of the Ninth and Tenth People's Political Consultative Conference of the People's Republic of China.
